Tungsten carbide is a compound of tungsten ,colbalt and carbon, renowned in industry for its superior durability,high heardness,good wear ressitance and high melting point (2,870◦C). It is widely used in applications that require superior wear ressitance or impact resistance, such as abrasives, cutters, dies and punches.

Tungsten carbide comes in grades, different grades,different properties– depending on the cobalt or nickel content percent. Other carbides may be added in order to boost specific properties, especially with regards to density, hardness or transverse rupture strength.Different grades will be chosen for partuicular working positions.For example,Hengrui's HRS1 grades are developed for stainless steel and other hard alloy steel's shaping processing, such as fasteners industries, cold rolled steel products etc.

HR00 series HR001 VA90 83 23.5 2.6 High cobalt coarse particles, good toughness, strong versatility, suitable for processing M16mm-M24mm screws with specialized black material (non acid washing, non phosphating) products, straight rod with tapping cap, its characteristics are both toughness and hardness.
HR002 VA80 84 25 1.4 High cobalt fine particles, good toughness, and good wear resistance, suitable for processing M16mm and below screws, dry wall nails, dovetail nails, small standard screws, small shrinkage rod molds, six piece molds, nut molds, black material product shrinkage rod with tapping caps and light punching.

 

HR003 ST7 85 24 1.2 With high cobalt content, fine particle size, and high strength, it is suitable for processing shrinkage molds below grade 8.8, as well as processing torsion shear, flower teeth, and tapping caps.
HR004 ST7 85 23 1.4 High cobalt medium particles, suitable for processing 40Cr hat with shrink rod screws, stainless steel screws, engraved light punching, with good wear resistance and toughness.
HR005 KG3 89.5 10 1.2 Fine particles have high hardness and are suitable for processing conditions that require high wear resistance. They have strong beam molds, high wear resistance and toughness.
HR006 VA95 82 23 2.8 High cobalt content, coarse particle size, high impact toughness, suitable for processing M20 and above large flange screw molds, and impact resistant cold heading molds.
HR007 KG6 87 16 1.6 High hardness, suitable for working conditions with high wear resistance, small aperture strong shrinkage molds, and multi station mold stretching molds.
HR009   86 17 1.4 Medium hardness and good wear resistance, suitable for processing large aperture strong shrinkage molds and extrusion aluminum shell product molds.
HR011 KG5 88 12.5 1.4 High hardness and good wear resistance, suitable for processing strong shrinkage molds.
HR012 VA80 84 25 1.2 This material has high cobalt fine particles, good toughness, and good wear resistance. It is widely used for processing small standard screws such as M16mm and below, dry wall nails, dovetail nails, and other small standard screws. It is also used for shrinking rod molds with small shrinkage ratios, six piece molds, nut molds, black material products with shrinking rod caps and light punching.

HR023 ST6 86 15 2.6 Coarse grained alloy, suitable for processing φ High speed steel ball molds, stainless steel balls, bearing steel balls, and carbon steel balls within 20.

HRS6   84.5 15 1.6 Medium grained and red punched molds are suitable for processing hot heading molds, hexagonal bolt heads, hot punched bolt molds, nut molds, red punched loose knot bolts, and red punched twisted shear screws.
HRS7   83.5 20 2.0 Coarse grain size and red punching molds are suitable for processing hot heading molds, hexagonal bolt heads, hot punching bolt molds, nut molds, red punching loose knot bolts, and red punching torsion shear screws.

ZHD82A VA90 82.7 25 2.6 High cobalt coarse particles have good toughness, strong versatility, and are suitable for processing M16mm-M24mm screws.
ZHD84 VA80 83.7 23 2.6 High cobalt fine particles, good toughness, and wear resistance, suitable for processing M16mm and below screws, dry wall nails, dovetail nails and other small standard screws, as well as shrink rod molds, six piece molds, and nut molds with small shrinkage ratios。
